KASHMIR S Family Tour
You will be received by our executive in Katra. Start the day of your Vaishno Devi tour with a breakfast, then proceed to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated in Trikuta Hills. Your Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from Ban Ganga Bridge in Katra. An alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars from Arth Kuwari and ponies/palkis/helicopter. Book your Helicoptor rides in advance. Overnight stay at Katra. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple. Now a ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairo Temple. After visiting the temples, return to the hotel in Katra and relax in your hotel.
Morning you will be proceed to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is ”VILLAGE OF SHEPHERDS “ Enroute visiting Patnitop Hills & the world famous Saffron growing fields , Awantipura ruins (9th century Pahalgam is famous for Indian film industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. Overnight stay at pahalgam.
Morning you will be taken for Sightseeing in Pahalgam. Aru valley, Betab Valley. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Morning you will do local sightseeing in Pahalgam and then you will be taken to Srinagar in afternoon. You will check in to Hotel and evening you can do shopping in Local Market.
After the breakfast leave for day excursion to Sonmarg, which is a beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you will stop at many beautiful spots. Continue driving to Sonamarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can enjoy horse riding to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Sonamarg is also known as Gateway to Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel. About Sonmarg : The ‘Meadow of Gold,’ Sonmarg boasts scenic beauty of nature. Sonmarg’s top attraction is Thajiwas Glacier, where can either trek or take a pony to reach. Apart from this, Sonmarg is known as the base for many treks to remote villages like Naranag and alpine lakes like Vishansar and Krishansar. It is an ideal place for trout fishing and river rafting as well. Overnight Stay at Srinagar.
Today You will visit Local Srinagar and Shikara Rides.
After the breakfast in the morning, we will begin our countryside tour towards Gulmarg. We will drive past colorful villages and rice fields that will give you an insight into the rich culture of Kashmir. Gulmarg : Gulmarg is one of the top hill stations in India and is majorly known to have world’s highest golf course. It’s major attraction is Gulmarg Gondola, which is Asia’s largest cable car project. The beautiful destination in Kashmir is also quite popular for skiing and snowboarding in the winter season. The 08 minutes of ropeway ride on Gulmarg Gondola will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of pictures. After spending time here, we will descend to Gulmarg base. Overnight Stay at Srinagar Hotel.
Today will be your Leisure day.
Morning you will check out from Houseboat. You will be taken for local Shopping. Post lunch you will be drop at Srinagar airport/ Katra Railway station/ Jammu railway Station/airport.
Pahalgam: 85 Km from Srinagar, Known as LANDS OF SHEPHERDS. Major Attractions: Mamal Temple, Baisaran, JIM, Golf Course, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Sheshnag etc. Enroute attraction are Awantipora, Bijbehara, Apple resort etc. Sonamarg: 81 KM from Srinagar at a height of 2730 mt also known as Golden Meadow. Major Attractions- Thajwas Glacier, Cadibal Fish point, Baltal base camp, Rafting, Zojila Pass etc. Enroute attractions are Tulamulla, Canderbal, Waliwar, Ancient temple of Naranaag etc. Trekking routes are Alpine Skiing, Angling, White water rafting etc. Gulmarg: 52 KM from Srinagar also known as Meadow of Flowers. Major Attractions: Gulmarg Golf Course, Maharaja Palace, Heritage Hut, Ice Skating rink, St. Mary Church, Apple garden etc. Enroute attractions are Kanihama Village, Nallah-e-Firozpura, Tangmarg etc.

Our Drivers are locals so they can be consider them your guides as well but using your own brain is also highly recommended while doing shopping or hiring any item or services 3. Due to Local Taxi Operators/Pony Walas Union Rules at Hill stations like Sonmarg ,Gulmarg & Pahalgam a tourist is bound to use local cab or pony service to access and explore local points of interest that are mentioned in our detailed itineries. 4. Gondola (Cable Car ) at Gulmarg has two phases ,01 (Gulmarg to Kongdori 3500 ft ) & 02 is (Kongdori – Affarwat Peak 14000ft above the sea level ) for its tickets one can go online to book them as per there date and day at gulmarg or on the spot by themselves or hiring local guide at Gulmarg ,it has fixed price like 700 /- PP for Phase 01 & 900/- PP for Phases 02. 5. Guides/Local Touters Can be used at Gulmarg on Direct Payment basis to save time and engage in less efforts at Gulmarg Or even in that case use them to bargain/negotiate on your behalf with pony wala’s /local service providers,Guides usually Charge 700RS for a day. 6. Local taxi Charges for 3 Points at Pahalgam(Aru Valley ,Betaab Valley and Chandanwari ) range from 1600-2000/- on sharing basis on point wise fix rate basis . 7. Pony Ride Charges have no fix rates during peak season time ,Its better advised to negotiate on the spot with pony wala to get genuine price . 8. Our drivers help in giving information and insights about the places and service that you have to pay for at Hill stations but at the end you have to go by your brain to get the least price possiable from local taxi walas/Pony Walas. 9. There is No Fix rate System of Taxi Or Ponies at Sonmarg to visit Thajwas Glacier and Zero Point (Snow Point ) one needs to do hard bargaining to get the best rates ,Normally For Thajwas Glacier Taxi Operators charge around 4000 Min During Peak Season & 6000 Min for Zero Point which is in Kargil Side . 10. Pony Rides at Places like Sonmarg /Pahalgam/Gulmarg have no Fix rates during season time, Anyone Using them should bargain to get genuine price . 11. One can shop throughout Kashmir, Our drivers also suggest points and showrooms where you can get all what you want from Kashmir but final decision and choice is yours where you want to shop and where not
