Transfer to Thimphu After Morning breakfast, Passing through the beautiful landscape we proceed to Thimphu (2320 metres/7656 feet) the capital of Bhutan is a beautiful valley with a mixture of modern facilities and culture– On the way visit Crocodile Park, Kharbandi Gumpha, Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojum Bride to take photographs of confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Check into Hotel. Evening for Liesure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Thimphu sightseeing (Full day) Early morning breakfast – then visit The National Memorial Chorten (Stupa) is a site for evening prayer & a monument to peace, built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who was called the Father of modern Bhutan The National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved. Sakyamuni Buddha - On the top of Kuensel Phodrang hill sits the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. The 51.5 meter long bronze statue would surely attract you and the uninterrupted view of the valley would leave you spellbound. The site is also known as Buddha View Point. Changangkha Lhakhang is among the most important religious structures in Thimphu. The structure is dedicated to Avalokiteshvara, the sign of compassion. You will also enjoy the grand view of Thimphu valley from here Trashichhoe Dzong is also called fortress of the glorious religion-The dzong houses main secretariat building and is the throne of His Majesty, King Of Bhutan-During the summer months His Holiness,Je Khenpo visits the dzong. Takin Zoo-Takin is the National animal of Bhutan ,one of the most endangered species of the World and it is available only in Bhutan. Zorig Chusum The institute of wood craft and Painting School where students undergo a 6-year training course in Bhutans 13 traditional arts and crafts. The Royal Textile Museum - Thimphu also introduces visitors with the culture and heritage of Bhutan. The Royal Textile Museum at Norzin Lam is a site where you will get introduced to Bhutanese textiles, some of which date back to the 1600s Simply Bhutan is an interactive living museum that gives a quick introduction to various aspects of traditional life in Bhutan. Visitors are greeted with a shot of local arra (rice spirit), before being guided through mocked-up village scenes. Along the way, you can dress up in traditional clothes, try out archery and hear songs sung by Bhutanese women as they build houses out of rammed earth. Its touristy, but a good family experience. Thimphu to Paro, Paro Local Sightseeing After early breakfast, drive to Paro Town approx 2 Hours. On way can halt to see the Crystal Clear water of river PARO CHUU Then visit, Paro Airport View Point - The Bird’s Eye view point to look after Paro Valley and Paro Airport . Rinpung Dzong - Built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal , the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan, the Dzong houses the monastic body of Paro, the office of the Dzongda (district administrative head) and Thrimpon (judge) of Paro district. The approach to the Dzong is through a traditional covered bridge called Nemi Zam. Nya Mey Zam Bridge - "The Bridge with No Fish " is the bridge that connects Paro Town to Dzong ..It is one of finest specimens in Bhutan and local believes if one sees a fish in the river , it is ill omen..The earlier bridge which could be folded during war was washed away by flood in 1969. National Museum of Bhutan - Situated right above Rinpung Dzong in Paro, the National Museum of Bhutan is a house that showcases Bhutan’s culture. Built in 1968, the museum stands inside the ancient Ta-dzong building. The museum houses the collection of finest specimens of Bhutanese culture and art and its highlights are paintings and some bronze statues, which are simply masterpieces. The items are demonstrated in large galleries and you can get to know a lot about Bhutans art and culture from these objects. Traditional Dress / Handicraft Shoppe –Near river side of Ringpung Dzong,it’s a handicraft shop where we find Traditional Bhutanese dresses which tourists can wear and have few clicks with the amazing view nearby. Kyichu Lhakhang also known as Kyerchu Temple or Lho Kyerchu is an important Himalayan Buddhist temple situated in Lamgong Gewog of Paro District in Bhutan. The Jowo Temple of Kyichu is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, originally built in the 7th century by the Tibetan Emperor Songsten Gampo. Evening stroll around the area Overnight stay in Paro.

Departure to NJP Station. After Breakfast , Transfer from Paro to Jaigaon/ Phuentsholling 145Km Drive , A drive of nearly 145 kilometers, a drive of approximately 5 - 6 hours - On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupa adorn this confluence - Drive further through Chapcha and Gedu town - Arrive Phuenthsoling Submit your permits then Drive to NJP Railway Station nearly 170km Drive approx 4 Hours for the Onward journey.
